HOSA

It's HOSA week this week. For any of you who don't know what that acronym means...ok, most of ya'll probably don't...it stands for Health Occupation Students of America. I have been involved in HOSA since I was a junior in high school. It started as a filler after I quit gymnastics and didn't know what to do with my time. My now-best-friend, Marie, dragged me in. Well, I reckon I was thoroughly sucked in because after my years of competition in high school (even went to Nationals my senior year) I continued to help out. Now I am the technical advisor. Haha! That's not a joke. I take care of anything computer that has to deal with state competitions. I spend a week of my life devoted to HOSA, stay at a hotel up in Layton and put my own life on hold. It is a blast. Sad that I still have the same sense of humor of many high school students. I'll be honest, they probably have a more sophisticated sense of humor than I do. Well, what can I say...my childlike love of fun and the fact that I still jump when I get excited are always going to be a part of who I am. That and the snort when I laugh. *Sigh*

The pic is from this year's Mountain View HOSA chapter.
